Crowned Fan Favorite during sixth season of Project Runway in 2009, self-taught designer Christopher Straub went back home to Shakopee, Minnesota and put his Midwestern work ethic to good use. 

Straub infuses his artistic style into everything he creates including clothing, fashion accessories, hand-made teddy bears and illustrations. 

In 2014 Christopher published his first children’s book. Several books and plush toys followed making Straub a bona fide success in the world of children’s literature. 

Around the same time, he starting creating hand-sewn teddy bears with a vintage vibe. Inside-Out Critters were born!  They’re made with a variety of materials including leather, wool, neoprene and vintage fabrics with recognizable exposed seams. 

When Christopher is not creating, he’s busy raising a flock of ducks and traveling with his husband and two sons.
